Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Overview

PowerLoss.tech (operated by webuildstuff.io, “we”, “us”) provides free, physics-based calculators for EV charging, solar sizing, battery runtime, backup power, and home energy costs. This policy explains what data the site collects, how cookies are used, and the choices you have — including how advertising cookies from Google and its partners work.

Information we collect

The site is fully static: there are no user accounts, no sign-up, and no server-side storage of personal information. Your calculator inputs live only in your browser and in the page URL (so you can share or bookmark a result). We do not collect or store those inputs on our side.

Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: (1) analytics, via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, to understand aggregate traffic patterns; and (2) advertising, via Google AdSense, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the calculators keep working without them.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.

For more information about how Google uses data, see Google’s Privacy & Terms and “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”.

Your choices (EEA, UK, and California visitors)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, and opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (which may include personalized advertising). Because we do not collect names, emails, or account data, the practical way to exercise ad-related choices is the opt-out links above, and you can disable advertising cookies through your browser or consent prompt.

Third-party links

The site links to third-party websites and services (for example, related tools and social profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; please review their policies separately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date below reflects the latest revision.
